The 0.1% Gentle Retinol Serum by Dr. Althea is a gently formulated facial serum with retinol and bakuchiol that makes the skin appear smoother, refines the complexion, and provides a balanced, nourished skin feeling.
The formulation relies on a mild combination of retinol and bakuchiol, known for improving skin texture and softening the appearance of fine lines and an uneven complexion. Retinol supports skin renewal and ensures a more even appearance, while bakuchiol acts as a plant-based alternative and additionally keeps the skin supple. This combination is particularly suitable if you want to gain your first experience with retinol or prefer gentler care.
Glycerin and butylene glycol provide moisture and help to retain it in the skin, making the skin feel plumper and more balanced. Panthenol and allantoin ensure a pleasant skin sensation and contribute to making the skin appear softer. The care is complemented by botanical extracts such as chamomile extract, lavender flower extract, and borage extract, which soothe the skin and give it a well-cared-for appearance. Tocopherol (Vitamin E) additionally protects against external influences and supports the skin barrier.
The 0.1% Gentle Retinol Serum is particularly suitable for demanding, mature, and dehydrated skin but is also suitable for more sensitive skin types who want to gradually introduce retinol. We charge a flat shipping fee of €3.95 per order. Parcels are shipped exclusively with our shipping partner DHL; deliveries to packing stations and post offices are also possible.
For orders over €39.99, shipping is free.
International Deliveries:
For orders over €59, we ship free of charge to Austria.
For orders over €99, we ship free of charge to all European countries in Zone 1 and Zone 2.
We calculate international shipping costs as follows:

Delivery Time
Unless otherwise specified in the item description, goods are delivered within 1 - 3 days in Germany, and within 5 - 7 days for international deliveries, after order confirmation (for agreed prepayment, after the time of your payment instruction).
Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will ship the goods in a single consignment, unless we have made other arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time will be determined by the item with the longest delivery time that you have ordered.
Delivery Period
For advance payments, the delivery period begins on the day after the payment order is issued to the transferring credit institution; for other payment methods, it begins on the day after the contract is concluded and ends with the expiry of the last day of the period. If the last day of the period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a public holiday recognized by the state at the place of delivery, the next working day shall take the place of such a day.
